Help Santa visit every child this Christmas

Over 170,000 children are living in poverty and as the cost-of-living crisis worsens, many families are struggling more than ever before. Thousands of children will wake up on Christmas morning without presents, or even food. This year, you can be the reason they unwrap joy instead.

The Christmas Joy Store is New Zealand’s first social toy store that provides the gift of kindness and the dignity of choice. The Joy Store invites referred parents and caregivers to choose gifts and treats for their children they know they'll love, off the shelves, shopping for free.

For 13 years we've been helping Santa visit families in need, and so far, have provided 110,860 children with the magic of Christmas.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

DONATE

Donate $20 and we’ll give a brand new toy to a child in need to open on Christmas morning. Or, donate $100 and we will be able to provide a family with food for Christmas and a present for each child. Each food box will include pantry staples, food for Christmas, fresh produce, protein, dessert and a few treats.

COLLECT TOYS

Set up a Christmas tree, or a festively decorated box, at your workplace, school or club, and invite your community to gift new, unwrapped toys. We'll get the toys into the hands of kids in your local area. Have some fun selecting gifts for kids from newborns to teens!

RUN A FUNDRAISER

We can help you set up a fundraising page which your friends, family, workmates or community can donate to, wherever they are located. We will then buy toys on your behalf, we work with some wonderful partners who help us to do this. This is a great option for those who work remotely or prefer to give online.
